Default Tavares

Hey everyone, league in sig. I'm pretty excited I have a deal agreed on from the other GM that gets me Tavares for Voracek, Kreider, Stefan Elliott, Silfverberg, and Martin Marincin. Obviously I'm getting an awesome player and the deal is worth it for that alone, but I just wanted some input to back up what I think.

With my league being so large, depth is important.....there's really no one of consequence available on waivers. Kreider, Elliott, and Silfverberg were expected to be 3 cheap pieces to add to my lineup next season (well, Silf this year) and Voracek has been coming around since his slow start. But I'm pretty much over waiting on him so I'm not too broken up to lose him. It's mostly the 3 young guys that I'm actually more worried about losing as my team is coming out of a rebuild but still not ready to all out compete.

Still a great deal for me though, right?

I pile of average-mediocre crap for one of the top 5 players in the game.

Sounds good to me.

Ok haha thanks guys. I knew it was a great deal for me just wanted some backup that the cheap depth I was giving up wasn't a bad move. Silfverberg is actually the hardest piece for me to move as I'm very high on him, but I shall make the trade.

LOL. I don't care what the cats are or what the league size is, getting Tavares for these players is a ridiculous get for you. Congratulations!!!
