Default Trade made - Now the best FA LW?

Lots of options, none of them terribly strong. My weakest cats are probably PIM and assists.

Prust - good PIMs
Boedker - top line, but cooled off
Andy Mac - best all-around?
Tlusty - will he stay on the top line and keep up this pace?
Raymond - some PP time in VAN
E. Kane - not a bad play, especially with Wheeler on my team
Brown - starting to score
Richards - has been cold as ice
MaxPac - tempting
B. Schenn - seems to be finding his stroke
Kulemin - 7 assists and dual-eligible
Dubinski - more PIM's

Rather than a LW, I could also fill my open D slot with Phaneuf, Burns, Hamhuis, Franson or Seabrook. This would not be a bad play if any of these guys will help me.

Ideas? Thanks!

I looked at Max P., E. Kane and Wheeler. They all should put up about the same pts, PIMs and shots. With that said, Wpg is a low scoring team. If I'm owning anyone on that squad, it is E. Kane. I would replace Wheeler with Kane and then add Max P. I think both Max P. and E. Kane will have better numbers than Wheeler by this season's end.

RW depth is deeper than LW depth in my opinion... why not move Neal to LW and pick up a RW? Who's available on that side?

Of the left wingers I agree with the above, Kane and Pacs are heads and shoulders above everyone else.

I have E. Kane and Wheeler and so far Wheeler has been a better fantasy player to own. Something is off with Kane.

There is simply nothing out there for RW either. Wilson was interesting - top PP time in NSH, but they never score goals anyway. I'm leaning towards picking up Franson on D since I have an open slot there. He seems to be hot right now. But Phaneuf had a good week too.... and I could use a nasty guy for PIM's. He and Franson seem to be 1 and 1a for the TOR PP. So if you had to pick between MaxPac, Franson or Phaneuf, figuring that I am looking for assists and PIM's, who would you go with?

Here's the bottom line...

If you want a guy to seriously boost your PIMs and that's it, go Prust. He'll do 3 times the damage E. Kane or Max P. can do in that cat. He'll also get Pheuf on PIMs by 40 - 50 or so.

If you are purely looking at assist and PIMs, go Pheneuf over Max P. Neuf will have pretty much the same amount of assist as Max but almost twice as many PIMs.

If you're looking at goals, assist or total points, then, Max P. is your guy.

This is a H2H league. Clearly it's not a very deep league given the FA pool. I'd focus on getting the best offensive players and hope that I can luck out on PIM rather than strategize to win PIM...because if you strategize to win PIM you risk losing ground on the other categories.

I'd go with E.Kane and not look back.

Whoever you add now will probably be dropped anyway though for Letang's return.

All this is very true and I would choose E.Kane as well.
