I've been offered Doughty/Voracek for OEL/C.Stewart. My immediate instinct was to decline or possibly counter and get Voracek replaced with somebody like Nash. He wants to get rid of Doughty because he's been a boat anchor so far. My question is, do I bother making a counter? What are the odds Doughty turns it around and makes a season of it? I definitely am not wanting to take on somebody else's problems without getting something useful in return.
EDIT: League in sig

Doughty can and most likely will turn it around, but it's hard to say whether he'll be the 40 pt D he's been the last two years or the 60 pt stud he has the ability to be. OEL has been improving every night this season and getting close to the top of his game. I like him to score more goals and I would definitely be cautioned by Doughty's -10. You think you can get the other GM to take back J. Johnson, Leddy, or Goligosk? I'd do that trade for any of them.

I highly doubt he'd take Johnson given his performance thus far. Goligoski and Leddy are maybes but I'm thinking he's trying to hit a home run, and I'm just not interesting in paying big for a big name who is under-performing in a shortened one-year league.

With 10 teams and short rosters Voracek/Stewart don't have significant value over replacement-level players. So it comes down to Doughty vs OEL.
I don't think Doughty turns it around enough to outpace OEL. So I say reject. But some might disagree with me.
