Nothing weird about that, Nash is way overrated fantasy-wise.

Tavares quite easily. Hits can be found elsewhere - a(n) (near) elite forward is worth more.

I'm surprised to see the lopsided support for Tavares, is he really that much better than Nash? according to FHG for my league so far this season Nash's value is 89 compared to Tavares' 86

Because it looks at it in a vacuum and given Nash has stronger peripherals it's more heavily weighted. However, hits/PIM are generally easier to find than offense, especially somebody of Tavares' caliber. FHG is good to give you perspective that some players are more valuable (in general) based on multiple categories, but I wouldn't get too focused on the rankings when comparing two players. Especially when evaluating more elite offensive players like Tavares.

Well said. That is the one drawback of FHG, it weighs all categories equally and that sometimes gives you a skewed picture of player value.

Tavares would be my choice and its an easy one.

I'd go with Tavares all day. Visnovsky may even add to his value now that Vis is on the PP. It definitely won't hurt him.
