Zach Parise.
Minnesota is going to spend to their CAP consistently and eventually they'll have a very solid top 6 and PP.

Corey Perry is a wild-card.
He's a free agent in the summer and we don't know where he'll sign.

That said - if he ends up in Philadelphia (say), alongside Giroux, then he'd be the best bet.

I'd personally keep Parise.

I think both are Fantastic Point's Only Forwards. Perry's increased value comes in his ability to put up considerable PIM's while lighting the lamp.

Both should contributed admirably to PPP (if that is a distinguishable stat for you).

While I am bias to Perry (as an owner), I'm thinking that Parise is perhaps the more pure sniper, and I like his situation in Minn surrounded by Koivu, Heatley and Granlund.

Slight edge to Parise right now, however Perry's destination this off season tip the scales drastically in his favor...but until we know for sure, I'll say Parise.

I wouldn't get down on your for taking that offer at all. Perry has had the success in the past and this season's slow start is some what of an anomalie especially considering he's in a contract year. But given the right circumstance, I think he could hold more value than Parise. Question is...are you willing to wait and see.

If it's any consolation...I was willing to wait and see. In fact, I flipped Ryan to get Perry...then tried to maximize my Ovechkin Value by Sending Ovie, Kessel, Phaneuf and Carter out to land Getzy, Marleau, Karlsson, Semin and Wisniewsky.

I'm totally rolling the dice with Perry and Getzy...but I am crossing my fingers and hoping they sign together somewhere.

(a Philly top line of Getzy flanked by Perry and Giroux would be sick!)...Hell...even seeing them both land in Toronto with Kessel wouldn't be bad. OR...maybe both stick in Anaheim and Ryan finally matures into the reliable and steady LW with those 2. Alone or together, I think they both hold considerable value!

I love to gamble like that personally... did the same with parise last year... all the hype of a UFA summer and finally landing s omewhere... the media coverage sells your players to everyone in the league, its great... you get all kinds of offers... The possibility of perry in Philly would be mind blowing...Ill toss another option out there.... what about perry with pittsburg? not sure about the cap space issue, but I do recall that a certain crosby could use a winger...

WOW...never thought of that option. I mean...how much money are they paying guys like Kunitz and Dupuis and the other other guy in Pit? Couldn't they consolidate and give Crosby a Neal...like Malkin has...ENTER PERRY!

Brilliant thought...not sure how likely it is ... but amazing to consider.

In a points only league, it's a lot closer, but I still favour Perry. To me it doesn't really matter where Perry winds up, I still think he's more likely to outpoint Parise.
