Default Center Conundrum

I meant Center Conundrum

Can't decide and would like someone's opinion...

I want to drop Carter (C, RW), possibly Ladd

players I'm interested in for Carter

Read (C, RW)
Henrique (C)
Zajac (C)

Henrique was fantastic last year, heating up and maybe his PP will increase.

Zajac... Being a talent, playing with Kovy, lots of ice time, how does he not pick up the production?

For Ladd

Rene Bourque.. 1st line and 1st unit pp time and brings in PM... Worth the risk, or wait for Ladd to pick it up?

How many teams in your league? Im just wondering because I don't really see those guys as an upgrade over what Carter and Ladd can do (althought it's been a while since Carter showed it). I would probably hold tight and not pick up guys like Henrique and Zajac who SHOULD be getting points. I drafted Zajac in 3 of my leagues and have dropped him in every one. In this shortened season you have to go with who is produces not who should. Which leads me to ask who else is available on the wire?

Not sure what you mean by waiting for Ladd to 'pick it up'. He has 9 points in 11 games. He had 50 points last year and is on a 67 point pace (82 games). He's also on pace to more than double his hits from last year...

10 team league.

Honestly, there isn't much else on the ww that I would consider at minimum a lateral move or potential upgrade.

You are probably right, better to wait until Henrique/Zajac start picking it up. Carter produced tonight, maybe the Kings will get on a bit of a roll now.

Forunmname, Ladd has been good. Providing more points than actually I was expecting, not getting the pms though. Really a minor complaint of mine, should be happy with it.

Thanks guys.

Honestly if it were me I'd stand pat.

You know I also own Carter..I actually had the opportunity to deal Carter for Henrique as a part of a packages being sent each way but I declined to include that part. Maybe I'm on to something, maybe i"m just stubborn...but I'll take Carter's SOGs which are typically pretty steady and hope that he can figure it out. As for Ladd vs. Bourque...not a big fan of Bourque. I realize he's playing well right now but I'd take the steady Ladd over him.

I would however, be trying to pull off as many two for one deals for upgraded forwards as possible with a waiver wire that deep.
