I posted awhile ago with an offer for my Marleau and based on advice given I didn't pull the trigger.
I have been offered the following in another trade: His Patrik Berglund, Alex Goligoski and Nikita Nikitin for my Patrick Marleau. Any thoughts? I am in desperate need of some help on D. I am 2nd last in the league and have no shot of winning anything this year. My team is my signature.

Agreed, you need to improve what appears to be a less than stellar D corps.
But what you're being offered here isn't enough for Marleau. Trading Marleau while his value is high isn't a bad idea, but deserves a much better return than the offer on the table. Hold for now, push for a better deal, shop Marleau around if you want to move him.. Cheers.

Ok here is a rather boring answer. I agree that your blueline look like shit but this proposal is a bit to much quantity for quality imo. Couldnt you get one decent d-man for Marleau instead? Like Boyle Enstrom to name a few. Golli might put up those numbers but I still feel he is a wildcard.

Would a straight up trade for Pietrangelo be fair? Or is it better to get a couple mid level players or a combo of players plus prospects?

If you got no chance of winning this year then trading for defenseman at this point makes no difference. If you are going to trade out Marleau, try and get back a good up and coming forward in the return package since your league cats favor goal forwards.

Would his Fasth, Grigorenko and Brodin be fair for my Marleau?
