Default Fasth or Schneider

Non-keeper league.

I have Luongo, Smith, Brodeur and Fasth.
A frustrated owner dropped Schneider.

Do I drop Brodeur or Fasth to pick him up?

Wins, Saves, SV%, GAA.

That's a great question, and very fortunate on your part.

Honestly, it doesn't look like you even need another goalie. You've got four solid guys. Fasth is really the only question mark. He's had good games in his season debut with Anaheim, and he seems to be absolutely stealing Hiller's job.

There's a couple of positives that I'm seeing with dropping Fasth for Schneider.

1.) You have Luongo. If Lu starts dropping games, you'll have Schneider right there to take his place. Vice versa for Schneider.

2.) Schneider has simply proven himself more than Fasth has.

I think if you really want to make this move, drop Fasth for C Schneids.

i agree with the above poster. Fasth looks great, but he is still unproven. At least with Schneider you know that he is good and he is playing for a good team. It's a tough predicament, but I think Maniac nailed it.

No-brainer, drop Fasth for Schneider, just in terms of trade value alone there is a huge gulf between the two.

Fasth has looked great, but some of the comments I'm reading in the Fasth thread are ridiculous - people dropping long proven starters because of their "faith in Fasth". This after he played 4 games! Now some nervousness is setting in after that StLouis game the other night. No doubt Fasth is a good goaltender, he proved it overseas (and anyone who says that doesn't mean anything is just plain wrong), but to assume after 4-5 games that he's going to (1) unquestionably steal Hiller's spot, and (2) continue to shine the way he has; is highly risky in my view.
