B. Elliot for Markstrom
Team is in sig.
I get Markstrom He gets Elliot Would you guys make this trade? Markstrom's owner turned down my Strome + Enroth offer, and said he wanted Elliot. I don't really need Elliot, but I'm not sure if Markstrom will be worth it.

In a full keeper, yes I would probably do this trade. Elliott has looked shaky although he isn't as bad as he's shown. But Markstrom is going to be a top goalie in the league someday.
With Fleury and Bryz you should be set in goal, the only problem is you won't have a plan B if one goes down to injury. But Elliott is not really a solid option there right now either. With a 7-5 split on categories, goalies are very important in this league. All in all, I really like this trade for the future, but I would look for a stop-gap measure for the present. Any goalies on the WW who are likely to play at all this year? If so, drop Mason for them, seriously, even if it's a Dipietro or Budaj, they are better options than Mason.

Mason has a lot of potential, and I feel like being stuck in columbus is what's messed up his development (he did win the calder trophy, after all). If he played for a good team like Boston or vancouver, he'd turn out like Schneider or Rask. I still am holding out hope for him to be traded one day or columbus to become good (probably him getting traded will happen sooner than columbus getting good, because let's face it- columbus will never be good)
Also, I'm a bit wary on selling Elliot low bc he did have 9 SO in 40 games last year - and he could just be off to a shaky start because he didn't get much practice in Oct-Dec. Other thoughts?

Id agree with everyone else. Elliot for Markstrom is a great deal, but put Strome in there and I wouldnt do it. Yes, Markstrom is o e hell of a goaltender, but Brian Elliot had starter potential and is still young. Hang onto him.
