Mr. Flavor of the week, Viktor Fasth
My goalies are going from absolute rockstars last year to a little to be desired.
My opponent, Mr. Perrenial 1st place has Fasth, and needs LW. I need buy low goalie help. My LW includes Nash, Eriksson(lw/rw), Ryan, Duchene(c/lw), Fleishmann, Gagne (meh) To snag Fasth, does Duchene work? Bit of an overpayment, but I need help. Pronto.

Fasth is the perfect sell high goalie right now. Goalies dont come cheap on a good day so if you are looking for Fasth, you best be prepared to over-pay for him. Is Duchene an overpayment? For a good goalie, probably not. The problem is, we don't know how good Fasth will be. As you said yourself in your title, he's the flavor of the week and everyone is liking what they are tasting.
If you want Fasth, prepare to pay Duchene for him but I would offer Fleischmann for him and hope he will bite. I wouldnt want to pay Duchene for him, especially if Fasth all of a sudden falls from grace.

overpaying a little is one thing but giving up duchene for a goalie with 4 nhl games goes beyond that imo
