HUGE TRADE - N.Backstrom + 1 & 5 pick for Neal
This trade is for a roto-style keeper league (keep 4). I'm the favorite to win but I am up against a really tough team. My team is below:
G,A,P,+/-,PIM.PPG,PPP,SHP,W,GAA,SV%,SHO Crosby (K) Backstrom (K) Benn Moulson Kane (K) Hossa Letang (K) Boyle Yandle Doughty Brown Kunitz Kassian Roy Hartnell (IR) Schneider Bryzgalov Halak (IR) The Ks represent my keepers from last season but I feel like Backstrom is done so I may keep either Benn or Schneider instead. But I am wondering what you guys think about this offer I may make. I'd be getting Neal to help for my push this year and I can keep him with Crosby and Letang. I feel like WSH is a wash this year and Backstrom is really losing out to Ribeiro... Thoughts?

It's just a bit too much. If you're trading that away, I'd want a top 5 player in return and though Neal is good, I don't quite seem him as top 5.

Bad trade. Neal might be worth more than Backstrom, but I feel like Backstrom is capable of greater point totals than Neal, but the part that gets me is the picks. To me in a limited keeper giving up your 1 and 5 picks is way too much. It's a marginal keeper upgrade, and the picks you lose could very easily cost you the next season.

Backstrom for neal straight up would seem more realistic to me. I think Neal + a pick maybe. Neal is an 80-90 point guy at best and Backstrom is a 90-100 at best. Though in a buy low situation you are forced to give picks to get Neal.
Neal would be better for your team at the moment.

It's the worst time to sell Washington players... I would reconsider this trade, unless it significantly changes into your favor.
