Parise straight up for Max Pac?
This would shave off about 5 mill in my cap. Do I lose out too much in this deal or this a better option for me ?

If you're competing to win this year, I'd probably keep Parise to go for it, even if it meant losing him for nothing in the offseason. Keeping your costs down is important but eventually you get to the point where you have to put it all on the line and go for the kill.

Pacs isnt that much of a drop from Parise and alot cheaper of an option I would go for it.

I think if you shop Parise, you get can a better return than MP67... He's good, but Parise is an elite player. Try landing one of Edmonton's young players at least, no?!
EDIT: Just saw you own Hall and Yakupov :P (Eberle and RNH would be great adds but I guess having too many of the same team players is never a good thing.)

I think with that amount of cap savings, it's worth it.
It looks like that would give you a good option to finish out the year with, and then maybe one of your other players moves into that 4th protected spot? Or would it be MaxPac? I see Yakupov there as well, and how long till Tarasenko makes the trip up from the farm?
