Trade with my brother??
Lol word got out I was willing to shop Ovechkin and ive got all sorts of interest. I was really looking to use him as a way to get a decent started instead of schnieder but that hasnt panned out.
What do you all think of Ovechkin, Tavares, Garrison for Getzlaf, Kunitz and Letang? Am i giving up way to much or?

That's a horrible offer and people might cry collusion on that deal with your brother. I kind of missed the point with the trade as well since this won't help your main need of improving your goaltending.

I agree with previous posters - way too much. If I owned Tavares, I would not accept Tavares for Getzlaf, Kunitz and Letang (not saying it would not be fair, just that I would not accept it). You would be giving up Ovechkin and Letang as well for that package.

Agree with everyone above you get murdered in this deal. Massive sell-high on Kunitz and by low on Ovechkin. Take out Tavares and you have something I'd consider:
Ovechkin & Garrison for Getzlaf, Letang & Kunitz. Also as was pointed out aren't you looking to upgrade your goalies? Look at the teams with goalies to spare and try and dangle Ovy in front of them.

Thanks for the responses guys.
The point of posting this was two fold. 1 to figure out how much of an overpayment that was and to give me some backup if i get into a back and forth with trade proposals. Here's his team... doesnt really look like theres a trade for a goalie there. C: Giroux, Getzlaf, Macdonald(lw as well), Berglund, Backes LW: Nash, Lucic. Semin(rw as well), Kunitz, RW:Grabner (lw as well) Horton, franzen D: Letang Chara, Myers, Bouwmeester G: Reimer, Halak (IR), Bryzgalov, Vokoun Is there much of a trade there that makes sense with Ovechkin as piece? Also, as much as I get that Ovechkin, and Garrison for Letang, Getzlaf and Kunitz makes sense I would have to drop a roster player to make it fit anyways so its basically like adding another player to the trade anyways.
