Default Kovalchuk LW/RW elibigility?

Being a Devils fan I watch most of their games, but I'm confused as to why he's still listed as a pure LW on Yahoo. I know he played his off-wing most of his time in Atlanta, but since DeBoer arrived in New Jersey he's been lining up at RW.
It's my first time owning him in a fantasy league, but if I remember correctly he was LW/RW eligible last year. Do any of you remember if he started off the season last year that way? Or did his eligibility change mid-season? I don't realy understand how Yahoo's policies on this sort of thing works, so I was hoping you guys might be able to shed some light. Thanks in advance.
