Vrbata vs Conacher

I have conacher, was offered vrbata for him. Should i sell high on him or will he keep rolling in t-bay?

Conacher's 50% [!] shooting percentage will regress.

his top 15 in league PDO also tells us that his line-mates are riding similarly unsustainable shooting percentages.

so many warning signs that his success isn't sustainable, and is primarily based on luck.

Vrbata has had his success based on 28 shots to Conacher's 12. so he's earning fully twice as many opportunities. offensive production is much more sustainable.

Conacher's line-mates are shooting an unsustainable 20%.

Vrbata's are shooting a very sustainable 5%.

i would counter-offer and try to get a little more back.

there is another Conacher FA thread in here and all the responses are "omg get him now" and the person offering the trade is probably in that category.

i'm a little biased myself, as i drafted Vrbata deep in my draft. i do expect him to cool off quite a bit - indeed he's already cooled off but is staying reliable, as expected. he has a better track record, being very good last year, and has more sustainable underlying numbers.

also, Conacher has been mostly playing with Malone and Lecavalier, and Lecavalier was just injured tonight, so that won't be good for Conacher's Assists.

Vrbata averages 18 minutes per game.

Conacher averages 14 minutes per game.

TOI is a huge driver of all stats.

I prefer Vrbata but since he's also performing quite well so it's not as much of a sell high deal. Can you list the other manager's roster? There might be someone who's struggling out of the gate who could be even more valuable going forward.
