Default New Season, New Questions...2013 Edition

So the lockout shortened 2013 season is underway and we're about 2 weeks into the season. While it's still early, there are a few questions that have come up.

1) Shea Weber. Is this him struggling to adjust to the loss of Ryan Suter and a temporary issue? Or is this just the new him, post-Suter area? 7 games, 0 points, -1, 11 PIM's, 18 SOGs, 19 hits, 9 blocks.

2) Alex Ovechkin. This is the third season he's started out slow and now the second season questions of his status are coming up. Is he just getting used to the new Oates system, or is he just not the effective player he was before? 2 goals and 3 points in 8 games?

3) Giroux. Is he just in a down period as a result of his team? Or is he just a 60-70 point player that over excelled last season?

Feel free to comment and add more potential questions

Washington is a mess. I still think they can turn things around but they're running out of time.

Giroux is probably just slumping. He's an incredible talent.

Don't rly watch any Nashville games so I don't have an opinion on Weber's season thus far.

Other than Rinne and Weber there just isn't a whole lot of talent in Smashville. Most of their top line would be 2nd or 3rd liners on other teams.

All of Philly is struggling right now. Giroux will rebound. Hartnell means more to that team than I gave him credit for.

Washington is a mess right now. 3 coaches and systems in 2 years. Ovie needs to do a scene from Rocky and go train in a shed in Russia and regain his heart and passion for the game. Don't think Backstrom is really back to health from his coccussions...Ovie really needs his set-up man.
