Other manager seems interested in giving me Marleau + Perron for Pavelski + Oshie. Would you expect my overall G, PPG, and GWG to increase with this trade? Also, is Perron someone I should hold around for a while and see how he does, or put him on the waivers and pick up someone better (FA options are Parenteau, Clarkson, Hodgson, Kassian, or Duchene)? My concern is that if I drop him to waivers for someone on a hot streak, he'll get picked up by the time whoever it is' hot streak is over.
Assuming that we go through with this trade, should I hold onto Perron or pick up somebody else? What should I ultimately do to get the highest possible G, PPG, and GWG on the season?

I'm not quite sure about the appeal of this deal which seems like a really lateral move except that you get the older player in Marleau and the slightly more injury prone Perron. The stats from the past few years would suggest that Marleau/Perron have a slight edge in the goal scoring and PPG department, but I'm not convinced it's enough to make me want to do this.
Both Pavelski and Oshie are more valuable and versatile to their teams and play more minutes per night. Both are still volume shooters...meaning they're going to score goals too. Personally I wouldn't do this.

The general rule of thumb is that if someone else sends you a trade offer, it is probably not in your best interest. If you want to improve your goal cats then drop Filppula and take Kassian or any of those FA and play who ever is on a hot streak or plays 4 games in a week.
