Ovech/Voracek for P Kane/Marchand
Decent offer or not enough?
Factor in that This is a salary dump of million of about 5-6 mill and Marchand still has farm eligibility and can be swapped to my farm.

If your trade partner is high on Ovi you might be able to get slightly more. With a league that counts PIMS and Hits (and you save cap) I like the Marchand acquisition.

Do you use actual NHL salaries?
I think Ovi is a buy-low in most pool formats, but he's no bargain in one that counts a 10m dollar contract. With that kind of money he really has to put up 95+ points to be giving you value per dollar. Unless you have an ungodly bonus for SOG... Kane should be around a PPG contributor and his "value" is comparable to the dollars it'll cost your roster. I'm not sure if you league is multi-cat, but if so I think I prefer Marchand to Voracek as well. I'm a big YES on this one b/c of the price point on Ovi. EDIT... Even if we assumed Ovi hit 100 points again...at 10,000,000 dollars/season you'd be paying 100,000/point. [This is a generous estimate.] Even if we assumed Kane only hits 75 points...at 6,500,000 dollars/season you'd be paying 86,000/point. [This is a conservative estimate.]
