What you don't want to give will be the only ones that make it fair. You want arguably the best player in the world and you don't want to give one (or two) of your best three players? You have to give to get, or don't bother. You have to think about the other manager - why would he give up Malkin for less?

Generally speaking, you should also (and always) provide all league settings when asking for advice. For example, points only vs roto could make a massive difference.

I wouldn't take that for Malkin. Sedin is on the wrong side of 30. Getzlaf is inconsistent from year to year.

In his case, I'd only take a deal that includes Crosby. And because I'm worried about Crosby's injury history, I'd want a bit more than just him.

Assuming that this is points only I would say that the only way you make it happen is to WAY overpay, think along the lines of:

Getzlaf
Perry
Granlund
Huberdeau
1st entry

Unfortunately, its probably a fair assesment to say that the only way you are going to get Malkin is to over pay. If you arent prepared to over pay to get him, you are probably wasting your time.

If you were the Malkin owner, you would probably feel the same way.
