Default Hall for Vanek and Granlund

Hall owner in my league has offered me him for Vanek and Granlund. I'm fairly high on Granlund, but I actually drafted Yakupov this year as well. I have what I'd consider very good keepers, so keeping both probably isn't an option.

That being said, thoughts on this deal? Team is in sig,

Hall's a nice piece but I dont see him being any more valuable than Vanek over the next couple of years. Hall's style of play lends to higher risk of injury and you can probably get more from Will than just Hall for a package that valuable. Get his 1st too, then you'll get Mckinnon.

Yeah I don't see Hall doing much better than Vanek in the next couple of years, plus he as the injury risk going against him...
And on Vanek's current pace, you should be able to get a bit more IMO.

I'd also try to squeeze more out of it than just Hall, but the reason has to do with Granlund, not Vanek.

I'd take Hall over Vanek in a keeper as Hall and the Oilers are seemingly on their way up. By contrast, we already know what Vanek is. He's had two seasons ever in which he's eclipsed 65 points and while his start to this year has been amazing, it's not totally out of the ordinary. Not saying he typically ticks off 5 point games, but he has gone on some tears throughout his career only to go through equally mind-boggling droughts.

But it seems to me that adding Granlund into the equation means that you ought to be fetching something additional in return, as others have already mentioned. He's as blue-chip as they come and, I think, could be on par with Hall in terms of value within two seasons or so.

Sorry for the contrarian view...from a Sabre Fan

I think you are overpaying but I like the idea of having Hall over Vanek.
Hall is younger and it would be nice to have another one of the key pieces of the Oiler Machine as it ascends.
I have them both Vanek and Hall on my roster (including Yakupov) and my limited keeper is 10.
So I'll be trading Vanek, and keeping Hall and Yakupov this offseason.
I'd love to move Vanek while he's redhot.

On a side note...you do not have to do the deal as you suggest just because you feel you will not be able to keep both Yak and Granlund.
I think you do have the room to keep them both.
Your league counts the PIM's but it is easier to replace them through free agency than it is to find a PPG player in a keep 13 league.
