Tavares Trade?? Will give Rep!

Hi all. I am trying to get Tavares and want to send a deal at the other owner. It is a first year keeper league with info in my sig. Is this a fair trade for Tavares. Thanks for your opinions.

I get Tavares, Hemsky, Josh Harding

He gets Duchene, M.Green, K.Yandle, and R.Luongo

Not how sure I like this because you appear to need help the most at LW. However the big question otherwise is who would be a keeper after the trade as opposed to before?

I know you think you have good D, so maybe Green and Yandle wouldn't be slam dunk keepers for you but I tend to think you can find a way to get more value for them. It seems to me that perhaps you've become overly enamored with the idea of "getting the best player in the deal" instead of maxing out value based on what you have and what you need.

True I am quite favoring Tavares in this deal to replace Duchene as my #3 Center. As of right now my keepers are:

C= N.Backstrom
C= Nugent-Hopkins
C= Duchene
RW= Yakupov
RW= Tarasenko
DEF= Karlsson

for my last slot possibly:

Huberdeau- Varlamov-Yandle-Green

Fella...im as big a Tavares as there is, but your giving up the farm for him when your most substantial need is on the wing. I don't like this trade for your as ig currently stands

For this year - you lose the trade.(and you virtually accept forfeiting any shot for this year)
For next year & future years, you win the trade.

So - it's possible he accepts, it just depends where his thinking is.

What part of my offer is over the top? Is it the inclusion of Duchene or Luongo? I can only keep 7 players so the fact I am really weak at LW is mute at this point because no one will trade theirs. I have offered this same combination of players minus Duchene for Benn, Hall, Landeskog, and EKane and have been shot down each time. I am not planning on keeping Yandle and I do plan on keeping Duchene if this deal does not go through. I am still undecided on my seventh keeper at this point.
