Default Ryan Ellis worth

i have someone interested in ellis and am not quite sure what he is worth

its for the 3rd league in my signature

these are his prospects
Strome, Ryan
Nyquist, Gustav
Toffoli, Tyler
Etem, Emerson
Foligno, Marcus
Stone, Mark
Smith-Pelly, Devante
Järnkrok, Calle
Prince, Shane
Gallagher, Brendan
Jenner, Boone

Elliott, Stefan
Dumoulin, Brian

Mrazek, Petr
Wedgewood, Scott

this is his team

H. Sedin, Kessel, Nash, Thornton, Ryan, Brown, Ladd, Vrbata, B. Schenn, N. Foligno, Ryder, B. Boyle, B. Gionta

Edler, Goligoski, B. Smith, Liles

Rask, Brodeur, Kiprusoff

i have a very young team as the team was at the bottom of the league several seasons prior to me taking it over

i am weak on the LW and G

i was thinking perhaps marcus foligno and petr mrazek

i know i cant pop rask with him and wouldnt be interested in brodeur or kiprusoff even if i could pull them off

i think it might be too low to buy on ryan

any thoughts

I think you are on the right track with M Foligno and Mrazek. Doesn't hurt to try that offer first and may have to offer a pick to sweeten the offer if he counter offers. I'm sure he values him highly with the cats you have but here's hoping he has a bigger hard-on for Ellis instead.

I do like Ellis a lot but still think he's a long ways away from making a name for himself. Nashville plays a defensive style and there are 2 or 3 other really good D prospects there as well, so it's not guaranteed that he'll make it big there. I wouldn't give up very much for him right now.

I own Ellis in one keeper league.

I would trade him for Strome, Nyquist, Foligno maybe Jenner or Etem.
