Voracek for E. Johnson
My: E. Johnson
FOR His: Voracek What's going on with Voracek? I've been really unimpressed with his numbers so far and have heard that he's been passed over for the top line winger spot by Matt Read. Is this a good time to get him or is he only going to get worse? The salaries don't even out (Voracek's at 4.5 mil and Johnson's at 3.2) but Johnson is already on the farm, where salaries don't count, so Voracek would end up there as well. My main concern is whether he can turn it around or not. He can sit on my farm all year for I care, as long as he turns into a solid asset at some point. If he were to become a top end winger I would have to do some shuffling with my roster to make him fit, but if he's putting up points I'd be happy to figure that part out. I'd take Voracek. I had Johnson last year and he was pretty unimpressive, I don't know if he'll ever be a strong fantasy player. He'll be an effective NHL defenseman but maybe not one that translates well into fantasy value.

Ya, I'd take my chances on Voracek. Your wingers could use a boost too.
I held onto EJ for 3-4 years and finally dealt him for Coyle and a thrid rounder this past off season. Got some cap space as well... Do it.

Great deal especially with the pick upgrade. I too have owned EJ before and he just never seemed to hit the level he was expected to.
