What do you guys think of this guy? I may be trading my pavelec for toews in my 14 team h2h pts league. My other goalie is leightenen from Dallas and ill need another guy. The WW is greiss, chad Johnson, and Dan Ellis in the top 3

roto or head-to-head scoring, scoring categories, minimum goalie starts required.

Without knowing more I'd say don't do it. Toews is better than Pavelec but if it leaves you with just Lehtonen and Greiss you're in serious trouble in net. Unless this is a league where you only start 1 goalie and its mostly peripherals I wouldn't take the deal. Post the details requested above for a more complete answer.

I think it's close but I'd do the trade. Assuming you can start every skater every night. We'll assume Lehtonen is #1 and Pavelec is #2, since you only start 1 goalie a night I used leftwinglocks's roster maximizer to determine you could get 22 starts out of Pavelec, with him resting at some point make it 20 starts.

Under your scoring I'd guess Pavelec averages:
30 saves per start x .2 = 6.0
2.5 GA per start x-1 =-2.5
is 3.5 x 20 = 70 points
2 shutouts x 5 = 10
total -5 for W/L/Ot = -5
Total = 75 points

Toews
I'm thinking 18G, 20A, 7 PPG, 1 SHG,
18 x 3 = 54
20 x 2 = 40
7 x1 = 7
1 x 5 = 5
Total = 106

Toews wins 106-75. Now again if you can only roster so many players each night you have to consider how many points not having 2 goalies costs you. Also if you don't have minimum goalie starts I wouldn't worry about picking up Griess, he won't get enough starts to justify owning him.
