The real question you are asking is, "what is Ovie worth"? No one really knows. A couple of years ago, nobody was trading Ovie for anything less than a king's ransom. This offer is far less than a king's ransom, and if Ovie returns to his previous ways, or even to a 90 point player,then it's a good deal. If, OTOH, he has settled into a 65 pointer, then clearly you would be losing on this deal.
The issue is "risk". Personally, I have never seen such a low request for Ovechkin. I would take it, and the risk.

Seeds summed it up nicely. That being said, for me, this is today not a few years ago. I'd stick with the sure thing and keep what you have. McDonagh in a points only league has little value. Loui is gold for 70+ pts every year. EKane is pretty much a 60 pt guy now and hes only 21 years old, getting better every year. Draft picks are unknowns and could be years away.
Keep what you have mate. You will be better off.

Such a shame......I am an optimist so I believe its possible to get back to where he was...but at the same time, he has done absolutely nothing to prove me right....
His play was much better this year in the KHL then here, you can really tell the lack of motivation...... Imagine getting this offer even a year ago....
