Default Yahoo Crosby Trade offer to me

I'm on the fence, but leaning towards declining the deal.

I would get Crosby, Dustin Brown & Elliott and I would lose Tavares, Kessel and Rask

Of course I can drop Brown and Elliott and pick up Varlamov and another forward, since there are only 9 teams and 16 players on each team.

Points are as follows:
G 2
A 1
+/- 1
PIM .50
PPG 1
SHG 2
GWG 1
W 3
L -2
GA -1
SV .25
SHO 5

I'm probably in the minority here, but I wouldn't do it. 5 of 12 categories are goalie cats and Rask is a top 3 in that department. You would be giving up big in those areas with either Elliot (backup/timeshare) or Varlamov (less talented on a worse team). Also, since Brown would be a drop, this is basically Crosby vs Taveres & Kessel. I take the Tavares Kessel side here because the kid is a stud and will be a ppg or over player this season. Kessel, while starting slow, will be much better this year than he's shown so far. I get the allure of Crosby, but here I think you're giving up too much. Oh and if he goes down again, you are really in touble.

I'd decline.
The goalie stats are important.

In a typical game, a goalie is going to see about 30 shots.
A goalie like Rask will save 28, let in 2.
GAA = 2.00
SV% = 0.933

Just for a GAME-PLAYED:
This is worth (28x.25) - (2x-1) = 5pts.
Forget the "wins" part... just playing a good game is worth 5pts.

And Rask will get you 15-20 more games from herein vs. Elliott.
That's 75 to 100pts more than Elliott... and we haven't even talked about "wins" yet.

I'm not sure Crosby will give you that difference on Tavares.
And then there is also the Kessel vs. D.Brown part.

It's a no for me.
Decline, the goalie part is the critical part of this trade... not Crosby.
The guy proposing it to you is hoping you don't yet understand the difference between Rask & Elliott.
He's disguising it by throwing in extra skaters too!!!

I'd pass as well. I like your side better in this deal.

Another vote for decline. Goalie stats in your setting are too important. See if you can sneak Crosby away from him with a decent counter?
