Clarkson for Conacher
I've been offered Clarkson for Conacher. Categories in sig. I was pretty piss-poor in the HIT and PIM department through the first week and I'm definitely looking to improve in those areas. I got Benn coming back, who will help me out in the hit department. But I'd still like a bit more truculence.
Should I cash in on the hot start of Conacher? I actually like his chances of being a rather productive player this season playing in the Tampa top six. He gets a fair share of PP time too. But I also don't want to neglect the peripheral categories like HIT and PIM. What would YOU do?

I think I'd take it. Clarkson offers some nice grit with goal scoring. With Parise gone, NJD will lean on him for another 30 goal pace. Conacher is good, but I'd worry about consistency from a young player like that.

I'd take Clarkson in a heartbeat! Clarkson will add a ton of PIMs and HITs and is proven way more than Conacher. Also Clarkson will get consistent 1st line PP time and top minutes whereas Conacher will go through a cooldown period no doubt. I would expect Clarkson to outpoint Conacher as well.

If hits are a category too, you must take Clarkson here. He's one of the top power forwards in fantasy hockey. Even with only say, 12 goals this season, he'll still be tremendous for your league.

It sucks to give up a young forward who is producing at a very nice clip right now, but you're getting a much more proven player who fills a much needed role. Another vote saying take the trade.
