Galchenyuk/ Bishop for Simmonds/ Smith?

im rebuilding so i'm just not sure.. is bishop really gonna push for the starter job in ottawa? if not this deal leaves me with no starting goalies.. Smith is injured and on team bettman while ottawa seems to be on the rise but..

his contract is up after this season and many believe that if he goes to a better situation his value might go up

regardless of how good Bishop is. I think its going to be Lehners team in the next year or 2. Bishop may get some games soley on an audition basis, if he doesnt produce he will remain in a back-up role. Smith is a great goalie under tippet's system ( so was BRyz)...as long as smith is in phoneix with tippet he will be solid.

said he'd throw an upgrade pick in as well. his other goalies r: Backstrom, Bryzgalov and Nabokov. i'm probably just goin to sit on this one..

he wants simmonds in that too, claiming he'd just be a rental

get some more opinions but i think i would want a really high pick if you have to include simmonds with the deal i suggested

i won't comment on this thread other than to say for your signature, instead of listing players alphabetically, list them in order of how you rank them. it's easier to scan for the best players on your roster.

also, i again recommend playing one year leagues. you have a chance to be competitive every year. It's very hard to rebuild a last place team in a 16 team keeper (I wouldn't personally attempt it). With 16 teams, protecting 15 players thats 240 of the best players being kept each year. Other than drafting prospects, the other unkept players will be crappy.

duely noted and i'll change my sig. but as to your other suggestion i'd like to see if i can turn this around before folding tent on it. even though i think you're probably right and obviously much wiser than me when it comes to sports pools

Definitely keep Smith and Simmonds, you could probably get a better deal for Smith on his own, then what you are in this deal including Simmonds, I don't think a pick helps balance the trade.
