I think you answered that too fast... Look at the point values. Hitting, blocking shots and PIM all count. That tilts it to Vlad, even if only slightly. The only way Yakupov wins big is if he doubles Tarasenko up on (G+A) points consistently...
I see them being within 10 points, at most, scoring wise. Hits, blocks and PIM will put Yakupov behind ultimately.

He had very PIMs in Russia, either...although that may be more due to the style of play in the KHL. Admittedly, I haven't watched more than about 20minutes worth of Blues' this year, but is Tarasenko suddenly a massive hit machine? Or are we all assuming, because of his quick start, that he's Ovechkin-lite? Will his team suddenly over the next few years become an offensive mecca? We know Yakupov's will be. |
