Seems elite LW are hard to come by these days. There isn't exactly a ton to being with, and some are getting shuffled to other positions. Kovalchuk, for example, is listed as LW in my league, but he played RW most of last year and is playing RW again this year. It's unlikely he'll have LW status next season.
Here are the options I can see: Ovechkin: Hard to acquire, his owner over values him. He's also starting the year at RW, though that may not last. D Sedin: Probably won't be shuffled to RW, but are his best years behind him? What kind of production can be expected for the next 3 or so seasons? His owner is a Canucks fan, so may have to overpay a bit. Parise: Also playing RW to start the season, hard to say how that'll continue. Probably would take a fair amount to acquire him. Aside from those three there seems to be a pretty big drop off. Any other players I should be looking at? How about young players with elite potential at LW?

Neal - good situation
Hall - if you believe he's the next Messier and not damaged goods Benn - hopefully resigns

I don't know if they are elite, but they have strong upside at LW.
This summer I traded for Nash and Bobby Ryan. Ryan has no points in two games for the Ducks (who scored 12 goals by the way). So far I am disappointed in Ryan, but it is really early in the season. I do hope he gets traded. Nash, playing with Gaborik, is going to be exciting as they proved last night. I think both players can get to a PPG pace...

I don't know about Hall, seems to be a bit of an injury risk, and I'm unsure if he will be PPG in the future. What do you guys think he tops out at? Quote:
No, not sure. I'm going off line combos I'm getting from a couple of different sites. I'm in Norway, so I haven't been able to catch any Wild games due to the time difference.
