I think this will prove to be a good depth signing. Pretty sure he's not gonna play on the top two lines, but he can still skate and he is motivated to show the hockey world that he's not useless...at least I think he would be motivated...time will tell.

Ugh...Sharks are doomed
Does he also over take Handzus at 3C? This was also thrown in on the NHL.com with the Gomez sign "The Sharks, who will play the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday, also signed forward Tim Kennedy to a one-year contract. The 26-year-old center was the leading scorer for their American Hockey LEague affiliate in Worcester this season, posting 12 goals and 30 points in 31 games."
