Lundvist + vs. H. Sedin +
Hello Dobber faithful!
(...and I blew spelling Lundqvist...cool!) Tried searching the forums for some info. but couldn't find anything close enough. Cats in sig. below, but I've been talking to a GM in my league about a deal based on the following: I give: H. Sedin, Bryzgalov I get: Lundqvist, (Heater)? My thinking is that it's a limited keeper, and with only one goalie keeper, I upgrade here. I have lots of keeper options, and although H. Sedin is money in my format, I'm an Oilers homer and my core of Stamkos, Tavares, RNH, Hall, Neal and now Yak will all hit their primes together. He would get both Sedin twins, and a decent piece back in Bryz, who I hope has a good year. As for Heater, he or Marleau will be bumped out of his keepers, so he could help me as a veteran point getter who I can let go at the end of the year. Is this a win-win? Am I foolish for entertaining this?

Take the deal. You're loaded at center and Lundqvist is a huge upgrade over bryz.

Agreed. 40% of your categories are for goalies, and your 3 are all questionable.

I would take the deal as well. Lundy is a huge upgrade over your current G keepers and your C position is locked down.

Alright folks, I'm detecting a theme here!
I see the value in this move, but I honestly think this is a deal that will help both of us - guy's a new owner in our league specifically, and I don't want to fleece him or anything. There's nothing better than burning bridges right off the hop right? Thank you to all for the input, I knew I could count on you!

Hey guys, thought I'd bump this to let you know what went down...
Ended up moving Bryz/H.Sedin, 2nd and 7th for Lundy/Heatley 8th and 9th The picks are all for next year, and is a pool of all players who were not kept (basically everyone after the 12 teams x 7 keepers = 84 players). I kept my first rounder to snatch up a good second goalie. I figure the picks put me into overpayment territory, but I felt the security of Lundy for the next 5 years was worth it. Also Heatley should give me some decent non-keeper production for this season I've now got: Nuge Hall Stamkos Tavares Neal Yakupov ...and Lundqvist moving into next year The other owner I think made out alright, as he can pair Bryz with Kipper this year, and now has both Sedin twins and upgraded picks. Hope I don't get raked over the coals, but do you think this was still a decent deal for me? Appreciate the insight guys!
