Olli Jokinen - General thoughts?
No Iggy this year but plenty of TOI and PPTOI so he should post respectable #'s. But there are plenty of C's out there on the wire with higher upside. hmmmm....

I took him pretty late in my draft in the hopes of a resurgence. So far, he has looked like the same old Olli Jokinen from what I've seen. If he doesn't do anything tonight, he will be dropped promptly.

FWIW, I own Olli Jokinen in 3 or 4 of my 8 leagues.
So... I have invested in him - and have faith. He's getting the most PPTOI of the Jets forwards - just two non-productive games so far. Perhaps the Jets need to juggle some lines.

I read that he gelled with Kane a bit yesterday and listened to the game. Sounded like he had some good chances. But I'm in the same boat as all of you, all the quality waiver fodder is getting snatched up. I don't want to be late to the dance.
Drop him for Granlund, Bozak or Brayden Schenn? I dunno. Seems like a stretch.

he didn't look much different than the old Jokinen from what I saw but he did have some bold statements to the media pre-season so maybe he's pumped and jut hasn't got his legs yet

For Steen. He looks pretty bad out there and I don't have the patience to hang around waiting for him in a Daily Transaction league. Steen is getting good minutes with Tarasenko and McDonald. And he's seeing less of the other team's top defensive players. Perfecto.

Would you guys drop Jokinen for Gagner in the league in my signature? Or any of my other centres such as Steen or Stepan?
Jokinen looks to be waking up a little, but Gagner is looking quite good so far. The only thing stopping me so far is the thought that Olli is usually stronger on SOG and PIM than Gagner. Thoughts?
