Default PP Time...??

I've always checked the boxscores on NHL.com specifically because I liked how they would itemize the breakdown of ice time for each player after every game (ie.TOI, PP, SH, EV). But they changed the format of that section in the site this year and it only details total time on ice without breaking down PP, etc.

This was an easy way for me to monitor the major players' PP time with a quick glance at one page per game without having to search through each player's individual stats.

Anyone know where I can find this info displayed like they used to on NHL.com?

Really need your help with this one Dobber community.

Thanks.

I'm glad you posted on this because I noticed it as well and I'm sorely missing this myself!

You can search the powerplay lines on leftwinglock.com, but it isn't really the same nor is it as conveniently laid out.

Anyone else have any sources that provide nightly breakdown of PP time by player?

It could be because the franchises haven't had time to hire stat keepers, hopefully it was not due to budget cuts.

Yahoo box scores only have TOI, hopefully this changes.

Here is Yahoo's Edmonton Vancouver box score:

I found this by Googling a combination of some words:

http://www.sportsnet.ca/fantasy/hock...combo_central/

It's actually kind of impressive for Sportsnet lol Not sure what the root link would be to check it after every game though.

EDIT: There's also this, which is some pretty thorough info from NHL.com:

http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreport...3/TV020007.HTM

I can try and explain how I got there if you want.

ESPN has a better breakdown on a nightly basis (including PP time). Can't take credit for this though, someone else posted it in another thread.

As hockey goes, ESPN coverage is general.
But there box scores are nice and it's where I go to check stats.

PPTOI, check.

That's perfect - exactly what I was looking for (and exactly now NHL.com used to have it).

Kind of nuisance that I now have to go to ESPN for this instead of having a one-stop shop at NHL.com

you can also go to NHL.com click on boxscore and then click on event summary (to the right - under offical game reports) and you will get full PP and SH TOI breakdown per player.

Yeah I saw that... way too much detail to be convenient.

LOL, welcome over to the dark side.
You will love looking at the player head shots though on their stat pages.

I really think it is the nicest platform for just "looking" at player pages.

Check this grin!
