I posed this question last year and the overwhelming favorite was Braden Holyby (thank you!!). Does anyone have an opinion on who that may be this year?

Carey Price because he plays.
Rask owners have an awesome argument. I understand some love for Varly. I understand some love for Pavalec. Many others have to establish that they're truly starters. Once they are truly a starter, we can argue their values. I'm not sure if Lehtonen qualifies as 'young'. Halak same thing (and stuck in a duo). Holtby, Neuvirth, Dubnyk... have some proving to do. I'm not sure where the Toronto tenders peck into things... Islanders are also very confusing... More established: Schneider, Crawford, Bobrovsky, Lindback... have some proving to do, to become fantasy fixtures. They're in position to establish themselves. Some succeed, others don't. Markstrom, Bernier types have to prove they can get to the level first, and then we can worry about the next level of discussion.

Thanks but I am looking more for an unproven goalie, one that is either a backup or is drafted but hasn't played in the NHL.

Well, around these parts, Markstrom is at the top of most lists.

Agree with exclamation marks...
I must also add Petr Mrazek to this and Andrei Vasilevski... Obviously this is a keeper lg idea as you mentioned Holtby last year and he wasn't yet in the NHL... Mrazek has gone from Jr to ECHL to AHL and become the starter over Thomas McCollum in 3 months.. He has a skill set that is more that Jimmy Howard and McCollum and wears his heart on his sleeve, he bleeds for the crest on his jersey be it his county, the 67s or Red and white.... He may have to wait anouther year or 2 in Grand Rapids tho... Me and Justin Goldman have discussed Vasilevski quite often the past year, and we have a feeling he could give Tokarski a run at NHL backup coming out of Junior and I feel that his calmness in the net is very close to Carey Price and Hendrik Lundqvist and a style that is compareable to Lundqvist... Matt Hackett could also gain traction if Minny chooses not to resign Nik Backstrom... And Ed Pasquale is worthy of attention in Winnipeg with Montoy only on a 1 year contract... Also must add Karri Ramo who is coming over next year for Calgary... I'm very high on Vasilevski and Ramo that I recently aquired them in a draft for me looking towards next year... Hackett, Lehner, Markstrom have been owned already for a couple years...
