Crosby + O. Jokinen for Stamkos + Gaborik

Thoughts? I'm being offered Stamkos. Categories are G, A, +/-, PPG, PPA, SHP, GWG.

In a one year league or keeper I would take the Stamkos and Gaborik side for sure. Not only do you have Crosby's health issues but Gaborik clearly outweighs Jokinen by a large amount.

And you dont consider Gaborik's storied past of injury riddled seasons as a concern?

I'm taking the Crosby side. I realize Jokinen isnt the young feller he used to be, but he will be counted on to produce solid numbers playing in a top role in Winterpeg this year.

if you remove crosby and gaborik from the equation because of their injury history one side clearly wins

Of course, but that isnt the offer. If you consider all the players as 100% healthy, I like the Crosby side better. its not a bad offer, but I doubt I would accept it.

Stamkos and Gaborik. I think Jokinen will be borderline ww material this year.

as you point out though gaborik cannot be assumed to remain healthy and as the other poster pointed out neither can crosby

i am on the fence about the deal personally i just think that the health concerns are justifiable for both players which is why i responded to what you posted

Stamkos and Gaborik for me as well. In this scoring setup with multiple categories emphasizing goals a healthy Crosby is only a little bit ahead of Stamkos. Gaborik blows Jokinen out of the water for me. You can call Gaborik and Crosby's injuries a wash with a slight edge to the Stamkos side because Gaborik's not the star. Keep what you have.

If you take out injury issues the winner is Stamkos/Gaborik.

On the other side if you dont care about injuries I believe that Crosby will significantly out point Stamkos. Gaborik I think will be only slightly better than Jokinen this season.
