Was it not a fair offer?
Offered another owner for league in sig. this:
His: Stamkos Salo FOR My: J Staal Tarasenko OEL 1st round pick next year(around 4-5th overall) Was this not a reasonable offer? Not enough?

If I had Stamkos, I don't think you have any combination of players that would get him from me. Looks like you traded your studs in favor of a rebuild and I think your gonna have to stick to that and wait until some of your guys develop.

Decent offer but Staal has done nothing out of the shadow of the Pens and Tarasenko has shown less. Won't get it done for the best sniper in the league.
That same offer at the end of the year........that's a different story.

I'm not somebody that thinks that is a fair offer. But even if you do.... a fair offer is not gonna get you Stamkos. You will always have to over pay. In regards to the offer you made, I have to agree with forumname, you dont have the good to close a deal for Stamkos.
Stay the course and finish your rebuild for a couple years, then take a stab at a top player like Stamkos.

I wouldn't trade you Stamkos for that package. It would have to be something special in return.
