Thoughts on my Draft?

I'm thinking I might need an upgrade at D. I'm also not sure about having both Florida goalies. I grabbed Theodore very late in the draft and grabbed Markstrom with second last pick.

Markstrom is a waste of roster spot for a one-year league unless one of the other two Florida goalies gets injured. They already sent him down to San Antonio. Given that you have Lundqvist, Varlamov and Theodore, I wouldn't bother picking up a fourth goalie. I'm assuming you only have 2 goalie slots and max games of 96?

Call me crazy, but given your categories, I like Lapierre here. He will help in PIMs and FOW and shouldn't hurt your +/- or SPct all that much.

Of course, if you are looking more for offence, I would take a flier on Atkinson or even Havlat.

Keep an eye on Grigorenko though. If he makes the team in a top 6 role, he might be worth the gamble.

The order of categories in your SIG gives me a major headache... yeesh.

It's a nice team, perhaps 4th-6th range in a 14-team league.
All positions are good.

I think this team could be a top team if you had more centers.
With FOW, I think you drafted too many wingers.
Missed an easy shot at shoring up a category here.

I'd probably look to drop Markstrom & Ellis for more FOW (& Hits, if possible).

I agree that FOW will be a weak point. There were some guys on the board that I just couldn't pass up on wing. There aren't many C available. The only guys out there right now are Horcoff, Brodziak, Gordon, Stoll, Gaustad, Brandon Sutter, Vermette, and Handzus. Does anything here seem appealing to you guys? Hanzal is unfortunately not available. I may have to go the trade route.

4T2 brought up a good point thought that Maxim Lapierre might be a good option, considering there will be some movement up the Canucks depth chart right now with Kesler and Booth out.

I drafted both Antoine Vermette (C/LW) and Max Lapierre (C/RW) on my roto team in a league that counts FOW & Hits. You can slot either on the wing.

I'm surprised your leaguemates haven't jumped on these guys.
