My Getzlaf for Pietrangelo
Categories and team in the signature. I know I need help on my defense. I really, really like Getzlaf in my pool. What do you guys think? Should I offer my Getzlaf for his Pietrangelo? Should I go after someone else?

Tough call but I still believe in Getzlaf. I'm also a firm believer in buying low and selling high. This is the opposite.

How many teams are in your league? It looks like you've certainly got the depth to make a move like this, and your defense definitely needs someone like Pietrangelo. At the same time, this is definitely a reversal of buy low/sell high, as metaldude says. Why don't you target someone like Fowler, Goligoski, or Carle? They had rough years last year but I'd expect all of them to turn it around in a big way. They aren't big names right now, but you might be able to part with someone a lot less valuable than Getzlaf to get them.

There are 15 teams in the league. I've sent him a couple and he has said no through the board. I don't think a deal will get done. I'll have to find other avenues.

I will definitely look at the guys mentioned. Like you said, I'm selling low right now and it is affecting me quite a bit.
