kipper will be way better for this year but in the long run how much longer does he have left.

I agree with bondon here. I would take Kipper in a win now situation easy.

Kipper easily.
Especially this year, a reduced calendar will help Kipper a lot. He is used to 70 starts, getting let's say 42 will be a piece of cake. He'll be in top form the whole season. Even long-term, Dubnyk has only played half a season as number 1... personnally, it's gonna take much more before I'm convinced.
