Benn or ????

Ok, so I currently own Benn (not for the league in my sig) and I have another GM who is poking around looking to see if Benn is available or not. On my teams, anyone is available if the return is worthy.

My league is a 20 team full keeper (no salary cap) league with the following cats:

G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPP, SOG, Hits, Blks standard setup with Fantrax

He is throwing Phil Kessels name out there as possible trade bait but he also owns Seguin and Eberle (he hasnt mentioned them yet but I am just trolling his roster).

My question is, if you were a Benn owner, knowing the league cats, would you keep Benn over the players I mentioned or would you be willing to deal Benn for either Kessel, Seguin or Eberle?

from strictly a value standpoint and with those categories, i would keep benn.

I love Benn and I think he is more valuable than the other two due to you cats. Seguin and Eberle have the higher offensive upside though. Kessel could reach that offensive output too if the Laffs ever got him a decent C to play with.

I would consider moving Benn for either of those two if he would throw in a decent upgrade at another position. It wouldn't have to be a huge one, just a little more incentive. A lot of it depends on your team needs too. If you are already set on offence, then moving a multi-cat guy might be a bad move.

Also, do positions factor in? Benn has dual eligibility in Yahoo (not sure on Fantrax) which could be helpful (although Yahoo is pretty free with that now).

I would not trade Benn straight up with any of those guys as Benn brings you hits and blocked shots. I would try trading Benn for Seguin and _______? Package deal.

I am not really set on offense. I do own some good young pieces along with Benn (RNH, Hall) but my team is still a work in progress.

Positions do factor in as well. Thats why he is contacting me. Benn I believe has both C and LW eligibility and thats why he is contacting me. He is heavy on the Right side but weaker on the LW. Seguin has dual eligibility as well at C and RW. That's why he is kinda shopping Kessel to me. I havent hit really tried to counter his offer yet. I am at work and cant access Fantrax here (damn Govt network and its filters) so I just told him I would reply back tonight when I had a little more time to talk.
