Goalie Help

Just completed my draft and I could use some expert help with my goalies. I like my goalies but I am not 100% sure I couldn't improve. Thought I would ask the dobber community for some assistance.

I drafted Miller, Kipper and Neimi. Categories are W, GAA, Saves, SV% and shutouts.

There are still a lot of good goalies available. Would any of these be upgrades?

Hiller
Anderson
Backstrom

I am thinking of dropping Neimi for Hiller or Backstrom.

What is your roster and roster setup? Can you maybe keep the 3 goalies and drop a position player spare part to add a 4th goalie?

Our league setup is as follows:

8 teams. G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP,SOG, Hit, Blk,
Goalies. W,GAA, Sv, SV%, SHO

2c, 2rw, 2lw, 1 util, 2D, 4 bench.

My team.

C - Stamkos, E. Staal, Toews
RW - P. Kane, St. Louis
LW - Parise, Benn, Datsuyk, E. Kane
D - Doughty, Kronwall, Seabrook
G - Miller, Kipper, Neimi

I only have four bench players so I am not sure about using 4 spots for goalies.

Shallow rosters. All the goalies that you mention to be availabe are similiar in a lot of ways. Your better off just standing pat, if something changes there will be plenty of G's to choose from on the waiver wire if you need to dive into it.

I'd look to deal Miller and add one of those guys to replace him. Is this an 8 team league?? How are these guys on the wire? Depending on your league rules, you could just stream your #3 as needed

Thanks guys. Yes, this is an 8 team league, not sure why others aren't taking these goalies.

Wouldn't trade in any of your goalies for any of the goalies available, and looking at the rest of your roster there's no one worth dumping for that fourth goalie.

H2H or Roto?

If H2H - do you have max transactions per week/season? Min number of goalie games per week?
If Roto - do you have max games? If so, how many?

Also it's a general suggestion to provide as much info as possible at the beginning of each thread as context/setup could make a big difference in deciding what to do.

Your team looks good so any goalie pickup would be negligible. If you could do a trade that upgrades ANY position while losing a goalie would be a huge boost since the top replacements in net should give you a solid value.

The league is head to head. We have no max moves per week but we have 40 max for the season.
