Anderson vs Ward
For the next 2 years which is the better to go with? I need to shed salary and A move from Ward to Anderson will save me about 3-4 million in cap.

I think Ward is a much better option. Better goalie, more starts, and they play on similar level teams. Also there won't be any uncertainty that Ward is the guy in Carolina, where as with Anderson in year two Lehner could be primed to steal games from him, samething goes for Bishop, and that could happen as soon as this season.

Ward is the better choice but you might not have much of a choice if Rask gets a new bigger contract next season. If you look at the posibility of trading away pieces like Gagner, Hall, Goligoski for cheaper players in return, it might solve your money problem and you can still keep Ward.

Ward is by far the better goalie and Carolina will be a playoff team this year after all the moves they made in the off season. They are not on the same level.

I'd take Ward but not much separates the two. Career stats pretty similar, teams are probably similar although edge to the one who made the playoffs.
