center ice pk , canada version
called bell yesterday to inquire as to what the shortened season price was and the rep didnt know yet .
I told her to order it for me just the same because I assumed it would be at least half price when charge went through. $138 + HST was the charge on my bell account when I logged in this am .

That's hefty for a half season if that's what you will actually be charged. They may be going off of last years numbers, and just haven't updated. I've been looking to buy Game Center this year, but haven't found any price points yet and you can only sign up for the Game Vault option on the NHL site.
Hope you get reimbursed when the actual numbers come out.

thats insane. they generally give the first month free and now there is only 4-5 months that they could charge for. it doesnt cover the playoffs either.

Had a tweet last night (Sunday) that came from Eric Francis and he had info that NHL Center Ice was going to be 4 payments of $14.99.
Make of that what you will.

Miserable SOB's should be offering it free for all the BS we just went through. They can keep their Centre Ice package. I will watch the free games on Sportsnet / TSN / The Maple Leaf Channel (aka Hockey Night in Canada).

the sales rep said she didnt know the price yet which is why I was surprised to see the 138 $ charge this morning .

I was chatting online with a Shaw rep this morning to ask the cost of NHL Centre Ice in Alberta. The rep said he didn't know the cost and wouldn't give me an estimate he just said "we're working with the NHL to figure it out" and "check back on our website daily we should know soon". I'll check back on Thursday to see if they have a firm answer.

gamecenter just went up for sale at nhl.com for $50 for the season...
but it is wholly owned by the nhl and doesn't involve any third-party service providers. definitely a discounted price though. will have to see the price through shaw, bell, etc...
