My league is completely revamping this year to a H2H league with much deeper rosters since we're dropping from 12 players to 10 players.
How do those of you in H2H leagues do the scoring? I know in a normal season some weeks a team could play 2 games and another 4 giving players on the 4 game team a huge advantage. We have contemplated going to 2 week long scoring periods figuring everything will even out over 2 weeks but with this shortened schedule thats only 5 matchups with the playoffs as well. Also, in your opinion, whats the best way to negate streaming? We were thinking of either limiting add/drops per week, making a max game played per position per week, or having a FAAB that runs on the 2 big hockey days, tues & thurs. We are going with 12 scoring categories and it's cumulative win loss. So if you win 8 categories and he wins 4, you're 8-4 and he's 4-8. Figure this will even out so the better teams are at the top and make it less of an "any given sunday" like football. So how does your H2H league work?? Thanks!

My H2H league is a points league... each of the cats (plus more that I don't list to keep it simple - like SHGFWOI - short handed goal for while on ice)...
Anyway, the league is awesome, and instead of winning a category per week, you get points tallied in total for the week. Withot killing you with details, we give 3.5 for goals by a winger, 3.0 for Center, 4.0 for Damn, 2.o for Assists for everyone except Dmen...they get 4 poits for Assist too... 0.25 for FOWs and Hits and Blocked shots... 5 for Win, 4 for a SO, 0.25 for a save... and so forth... typically we have scores at week's end of 334 to 289. We start 2C, 4W, 4D and 2G per night... set lineups daily. We carry a roster of 18 players with 1 IR spot, so the disparity in schedules is less a factor than one might think. However, I am anxiously awaiting the release of the revised Same Night Tool based on the shortened 2013 season schedule released tonight because it is crucial in this type of league to select your final players (15th-18th roster spots) based on whether or not you will ever activate them due to schedule conflict. So I will sometimes take a lesser name because I only get 10 games played from him versus 19 games played of the other player over same span. Lots of strategy here, and it affects trades as well.

Oh, and I forgot... we have a rule that states you must keep a player for the following scoring period if you pick him up in the previous scoring period... this curbs the guys that add/drop on Sunday mornings to "steal" a win when the scores are close.
