Default Would you trade B. Schenn for Goligoski

Our league is a points only league. I have Schenn and was looking to move him for more depth on defense as we just increased defensemen scoring.

Forwards and defensemen get:
Goals =1 pt
Assists = 1pt
Powere play goals and assists = 0.5 pt

Defensmen scoring gets a bonus

Goals = extra point
Assists = extra 0.5 pt

I was high on Schenn last year but the reality is he probably won't be a keeper for me next year. Also I have Benn so having Goligoski on the same power play unit is appealing to me. One goal can get me good fantasy value in return if both players are in on the goal.

Would you pull the trigger?

I appreciate you input as always

If you're not going to keep him, then, I don't see the harm. You don't have PIMs or Hits, which make Schenn more useful. My preference would be to trade him because his name carries decent weight.

If Schenn isn't going to be a keeper for you, then I would make the trade for Goligoski.
