McKinnon Trade
Points only league. Shallow league. I own the rights to choose 1st overall re draft eligible players (pointing to McKinnon).
I have an offer on the table: Huberdeau and Baertschi for 1st overall (McKinnon or whoever else the GM wants to pick 1st) I like that trade but must admit I'm not quite sure I fully understand McKinnon's value and upside. Any thoughts? Thanks. - C

I'd have to be inclined to take that trade now. I think Hubs and Bart both have excellent potential so it's definitely a very reasonable offer. I always pictured McKinnon to be the next Toews but it's too early to project him yet.

I know it is tempting to take this deal, but I wouldn't. I'd ride it out with MacKinnon and assume the scouts who have been watching him since he was 10 are still right at this point....
