I should add Skinner has dual position eligibility (C/RW).
Pacioretty is LW only.

Skinner for me. Greatest upside of the two on a very strong squad. Patches will get you some hits. Neither will register much on the blksht radar. I think Skinner wins on the other categories.

I prefer Skinner. Pacioretty will give you more hits but the advantage there is marginal. Skinner has more upside in the remaining categories (excepts blocks but that's a nothing category for most forwards). Pacioretty has immense upside but he needs the linemates to drive him there. I think Skinner has enough talent to be great on his own but he also has great linemates that could drive him higher. Might be some short term pain for long term gain on this one though.

2. You have Hits and blocked shots. That's advantage Max P. 3. Max P. is a main source of offense for Mtl. Skinner is the sexy pick, but in your league, Max P. all day.

I don't see this as a slam dunk. I'd be reviewing the extended stats carefully.
Max - well, it's obvious he's the man in Montreal. How he sustains and whether he gets checked more tightly.... How do you criticize a guy with 65 points. Skinner - he's pretty soft. That upper elite soft touch is clearly something he possesses. He gets hidden a bit with the acquistion of Semin and another Staal. That's probably a good thing. Off year last year... ?injury? ?sophmore?... He's a shooter. I suspect, I'd contemplate the positional discussion very carefully. Cap leagues with regular NHL contracts, depending on how your league ads stuff up, is either essentially a wash out, small edge to Skinner. Next year the edge moves to Max.

It's closer than you'd think, but I would go with Skinner.

Max P is pretty good now and can be awesome with Galchenyuk. And he's a beast n your CATS.
Max P for me.
