Trim the fat
Gents,
28 team, pts only, keep 9 start 9 fwd, 4d, 1g I am making a run this year (I know, my squad isn't terribly deep but it's a 28 team league!) I'm not sure who to keep, opinions welcome, rep! I'm think I'll keep the highlighted players... Bozak Backstrom Clowe Malkin Nielsen Purcell Roy Setoguchi Larsen Whitney Need to get down to either 9 or 8 players as we have a UFA auction coming up this week where all players who turn 32 are available to the highest bidder. Big names are Sedin(s), Zetterberg, St.Louis, Lecavalier, Streit etc.

I'm taking Frans Nielsen over Setoguchi here.
Nielsen is a very solid (& underrated player) whose point totals continue to rise: 33/37/43/47. PAP's departure opens up some PP-time for him. Also, with Lubomir Visnovsky not on the team, it's possible there's even more PP time for him. Setoguchi is garbage, IMO. He's pushed out of any chance of PP1 time with the Parise signing. MIN is actually fairly deep at center with Cullen, PMB, Brodziak... and where does Granlund fit in. If MIN slides one of those guys to the wing, it could push Seto out of top 6 minutes and out of PP-time. I prefer Nielsen over Seto.

at first i liked your keepers but after readin p7's post i agree with his argument for nielsen.
