ESPN viewers do not know what hockey is. ESPN basically shuts the NHL out. The poll IMO is just plain inaccurate.
In saying that though, yea I am sure there are a lot of folks not to pleased right now, but in due time the world will be right again. I'm stoked it's back. They had to do their business, I did not agree with the lockout, but I can't cry over what I cannot control, so I took it on the chin, kept patient and now here soon we're back rolling again and I am stoked.

At the same time, ESPN wanted at least something of a contract before Bettman decided to give everything to NBC. Multiple networks would have been so much better.
